What kind of information are you reading?
We separate four kinds of information wherever that distinction matters:
- Operational information includes retreat dates, prices, accommodation, transport, program inclusions, team roles, and application procedures.
- Medical and scientific information includes research findings, contraindications, medication concerns, physical health, mental health, and emergency planning.
- Cultural and traditional knowledge includes descriptions of yagé practices, terminology, lineage, ceremony, music, and relationships with particular communities or teachers.
- Personal experience includes participant reviews, interviews, reflections, and accounts from members of the Camino al Sol team.
We do not present one type as another. A personal experience is not clinical evidence. A traditional understanding is not automatically a scientific claim. A marketing preference does not establish a cultural fact.
